Your New Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced Plant Operator to join our Lonsdale, SA site on a Full-Timebasis.
This is a multi-skilled plant operation across brand new, state of the art tyre recycling equipment. The position offers a balanced rotating roster from Monday to Friday.
Your responsibilities will include the following:
* Sort tyres/recyclable materials according to prescribed criteria
* Operate forklift/bobcat/excavator to move materials for processing, sorting, storing and transporting
* Operate recycling processing equipment including but not limited to crushers, shredders, granulators and sorters to meet or exceed market requirements
* Unload materials from trucks
* Remove contamination from recyclable material
* Load materials into containers
* Maintain production standards
* Monitor equipment operation and report malfunction and other maintenance and repair needs to the Plant Supervisor or Plant Manager
* Carry out basic maintenance tasks
* Maintain inventory records
* Clean plant equipment and work areas
* Perform other duties as per business requirements
* Foster and promote safe working behaviours and display a commitment to Tyrecycle safety standards and OHS requirements at all times
About you:
* Current driver's licence
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team
* Personal drive and results orientated
* Previous plant operating experience with current license or the ability to obtain licence for:
* Forklift (preferred)
* Bob Cat (preferred)
* Excavator (preferred)
