My client is a well-established accounting firm based in Southport. This firm has been in operation for 40+ years. This firm is extremely proud of their low staff turnover and the great systems they have in place.
Position
Due to succession planning, the position of Director has been created within this firm's business services division.
This role will involve:
* Work alongside the existing team of Partners/Directors
* Managing and mentoring a team of motivated accountants
* Working on high‐level advisory projects and complex tax compliance matters
* Identifying advisory projects within the current client base
* Nurturing current client relationships
Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following:
* CA/CPA
* Public Practice Certificate/Tax Agent's License (or eligible to obtain)
* 15+ years experience within Australian Public Practice
* A genuine interest in progressing to equity partnership (non negotiable)
* Ability to manage client relationships
* Experience with new business development
* Experience with advisory
* Solid tax knowledge
* Exceptional communication and presentation skills
