Job Description
- Oversee engineering delivery across assigned telecommunications infrastructure projects
- Coordinate multi-disciplinary engineering resources and internal/external stakeholders
- Manage engineering schedule, risks, priorities and deliverables
- Represent engineering in project meetings with clients and PMs
- Lead design reviews and Safety in Design processes
- Prepare and review scopes for subcontractors and suppliers
- Support on-site activities including installation and commissioning
- Mentor junior engineers and support continuous improvement initiatives
The Successful Applicant
A successful Senior Project Engineer should have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related)
- 8+ years' experience in engineering delivery within EPC or related environments
- Background in telecommunications, mining, oil & gas or defence sectors
- Skilled in engineering project controls, change management, and stakeholder engagement
- Proven ability to interpret technical scopes and deliver to schedule
- Strong knowledge of design, commissioning, and construction processes
- Confident managing subcontractors and technical queries
- Chartered or eligible for MIEAust/CPEng (highly regarded)
