Project Delivery Expert
We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead major industrial projects from contract initiation to successful completion.
Your primary responsibility will be to drive project performance, manage stakeholders, and ensure outcomes meet the highest standards in safety, quality, and execution.
About the Role:
This key leadership position requires a strategic thinker who can coordinate internal teams and external vendors, maintaining alignment through effective stakeholder engagement and communication.
* Develop and implement structured project management processes, including gate reviews, scope management (CMR), and performance monitoring tools.
* Proactively identify and report project risks, implementing approved mitigation strategies as required.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop cost estimates for new opportunities by contributing to cost models, documentation, and stakeholder consultation.
* Build and maintain strong client relationships, participating in regular project reviews, reporting cycles, and client meetings.
To Succeed - Key Requirements:
* Qualification in engineering or extensive site-based supervisory experience delivering complex projects
* Over 10 years' experience in heavy industry, specialising in rotating plant and high-value project delivery
* Strong communication, negotiation, and commercial skills with a solid grasp of contract terms
* Proven ability to manage projects exceeding $2M, including cost control, reporting, and scope management
* Experienced in leading estimating, tendering, and contract development processes
* Willingness to travel to sites as needed to support project delivery
