Job Title: Director (Diversity Education)

This role is a senior leadership position responsible for ensuring that all students with additional learning needs receive an education aligned with the College's vision.

* The ideal candidate will be a passionate and dedicated leader who can inspire and motivate the Diversity Education Team to make a positive impact on student outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will lead the Diversity Education Team in providing high-quality support and resources for students with special needs. This includes collaborating with teachers and staff to promote inclusive practices, developing professional learning programs, and fostering strong relationships with parents and carers.

1. Liaise with Executive Leadership to develop and implement strategies for students with diverse needs
2. Lead the Diversity Education Team in providing high-quality support and resources for students with special needs
3. Collaborate with teachers and staff to promote inclusive practices and maximize student learning outcomes
4. Develop and deliver professional learning programs for staff to enhance their capacity to support students with diverse needs
5. Foster strong relationships with parents and carers to ensure they are informed and involved in their child's education

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and skills:

* 4-year teaching qualification or be willing to obtain Accreditation for Middle Leaders in Catholic Schools
* Experience teaching students with Educational Support/Learning Support needs
* Demonstrated capacity to improve student learning and promote academic excellence
* Strong leadership skills, including competence, vision, self-reflection, and integrity
* Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills

The following qualifications would be highly desirable for this role:

* Experience working in a similar role
* Experience coaching or mentoring staff
