As we continue to scale across Australia, we're looking for a National Account Manager to own and grow our Independent dealer portfolio.

The Role

As the National Independent Account Manager, youll own the relationships with independent car dealers across Australia by building connections, driving adoption, and ensuring our customers get maximum value from the AutoGrab platform.

Reporting to the National Independent Manager, this is a varied, high-activity role that blends outbound prospecting, relationship management, onboarding, and day-to-day account support. Youll be the face of AutoGrab to the independent dealer segment and a key driver of growth in one of our most exciting market opportunities.

Based in Melbourne, the role operates on a hybrid basis with regular face-to-face dealer meetings expected as part of the week. Youll also engage dealers nationally via phone and online, so confidence across all channels is key.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage and grow a national portfolio of independent car dealers, maintaining a healthy and up-to-date pipeline
* Drive new business through consistent outbound prospecting and cold calling activity each week
* Convert prospecting activity into regular face-to-face and online meetings with dealers, including new customer onboarding sessions
* Monitor account health and platform usage weekly, identifying at-risk accounts early and taking proactive action
* Identify dealer training needs on an ongoing basis and coordinate support to drive product adoption and engagement
* Handle inbound account enquiries promptly and professionally
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records across CRM and pipeline management tools
* Carry out administration duties to support portfolio management and reporting
* Collaborate with the National Independent Manager and broader commercial team to share insights and improve execution

About You

* Experience in account management, sales, or a customer-facing commercial role (automotive and/or SaaS experience highly regarded)
* Confident and comfortable with outbound cold calling and appointment setting
* Strong relationship-building skills — able to engage dealer principals and key decision-makers
* Highly organised with strong CRM discipline and the ability to manage a large, diverse portfolio
* Commercially minded with a proactive approach to identifying growth opportunities
* Comfortable working autonomously while remaining accountable to clear KPIs
* Positive, resilient, and energised by a high-activity, fast-paced environment
