Description
* Manage daily warehouse operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
* Oversee inventory management, including stock control and order fulfilment.
* Implement and maintain safety and compliance standards within the warehouse.
* Lead, mentor, and develop a team of warehouse staff to achieve operational goals.
* Coordinate with the logistics team to streamline supply chain processes.
* Analyse and improve warehouse processes to enhance performance and reduce costs.
* Ensure timely and accurate reporting of warehouse activities.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Profile
A successful Warehouse Operations Manager should have:
* Proven experience in warehouse management within the transport and distribution industry.
* Proven experience working in a multi customer site
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Solid understanding of logistics and supply chain operations.
* Commitment to maintaining high safety and compliance standards.
* Excellent problem-solving and organisational abilities.
* Proficiency in warehouse management systems and software.
* Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Experience working with Dangerous Goods and chemicals will be an added advantage.
