About the Team Made up of Graduates right through to Category Managers, Business Managers, Commercial Directors and Executives, FPG's Commercial team have large exposure across the business. The team consists of experienced produce experts with diverse professional backgrounds. Working alongside this group, you will be immersed in the industry whilst gaining mentorship, knowledge, and exposure. From building relationships with international suppliers and customers to working across many produce varieties, you will have genuine opportunities for development. About the Role Supporting our Commercial Team in WA, this role will support the delivery of category strategy and sales performance within our Agriculture portfolio. The key responsibilities will include:
* Support the Category Manager in driving category sales and performance
* Manage promotional activity and execution
* Coordinate logistics communication and issue resolution
* Maintain effective supplier and customer relationships
* Analyse sales data to identify trends and opportunities
* Contribute to innovation and new business initiatives
* Collaborate effectively within the broader team
About You
Open to recent graduates and seasoned category managers, this role requires a high level of engagement with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal stakeholders. This includes weekend work and availability outside standard business hours.
The successful candidate will have:
* Experience in agriculture, FMCG, or related disciplines
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
* A can-do attitude and excellent attention to detail
* Strong computer skills with experience using Microsoft Office (intermediate Excel skills are highly desirable)
* Ability to work under pressure and quickly adapt to meet goals and deadlines
* Self-motivation with a desire to learn and grow
* A flexible work schedule to meet the varying needs of the business
