About our roles: Due to growth, we offer a Building Inspector Cadetship in the Queanbeyan region.
This role involves undertaking the UTS Open short course, studying an Advanced Diploma in Building Surveying, and gaining hands-on experience under mentorship to become a registered certifier and Building Inspector.
You will:
Work on residential projects Assess Construction Certificates, Complying Development Certificates, Occupation Certificates, Crown Certificates, and BCA Reports Conduct critical stage inspections Provide building compliance advice Investigate and resolve customer requests Participate in business improvement strategies Represent Buildcert at industry events About you: Ideal candidates have a passion for construction and a desire to build a career in certification. A trade background is advantageous but not essential.
What We Offer: Intensive Training Program: Start with a paid, comprehensive training program at our Newcastle Head Office, including accommodation, travel allowance, and immersion in our culture. Completion of this training is essential.
Post-training, you will return to your regional base, mentored by an experienced certifier to gain practical on-the-job experience.
You should be proactive, communicative, resilient, and customer-focused. Requirements include:
