About the Role
We're seeking a proactive and experienced Health & Safety Manager to lead HSE initiatives across operational renewable energy sites in a regional portfolio. This role supports site teams, drives continuous improvement, and ensures consistency in safety performance and compliance across the region.
Responsibilities
* Lead and support site teams to uphold H&S standards and legislation
* Drive risk management, incident response, audits, and emergency planning
* Develop and roll out safety initiatives, procedures, and training
* Collaborate with corporate HSE and site leaders to ensure alignment
* Mentor and manage HSE Coordinators
* Contribute to safety culture uplift and long-term strategic planning
Experience & Qualifications
* 10+ years in HSE roles, preferably in industrial or high-risk sectors
* Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and regulator engagement
* Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent industry experience
* Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills
* Valid driver's licence; GWO certification (or willingness to obtain)
* Flexibility to travel to regional operational sites
