Role Overview:
The Systems Architect is responsible for system design and support system definition of our high-fidelity, multi-domain training systems. System design includes impact analysis of proposed changes to training systems as well as ensuring the system meets performance, safety and cybersecurity requirements throughout its lifecycle.
This role may also be required to support bids and proposals, usually as an SME to the Integrations Solutions Lead.
Responsibilities:
 * Develop and maintain the overall architecture of training systems, including hardware components, software components, data flows, user interaction layers, data exchanges and immersive technologies
 * Make and manage all design decisions on the project and support the project manager identify and manage all technical risks.
 * Develop the system design documentation and conduct the presentation of system design at any applicable Mandated Systems Review
 * Conduct Technical Information reviews on all inbound data for allocated platforms
Qualifications:
 * Bachelor's or equivalent degree/experience in an engineering/technical discipline – systems engineering highly regarded
 * Strong Simulation/Systems engineering experience, ideally with an exposure to systems architecture
 * Proven knowledge in the application of systems principles across the capability life cycle
 * Ideally have worked with training systems, connecting LMS, simulation engines and content repositories
Location and Work Arrangement:
Homebush, NSW. We operate a hybrid working approach. Your role may involve some national and international travel

Security Requirements:
Must be eligible for SECRET (NV1) level Defence security clearance, and preferably already hold a current SECRET (NV1) clearance.
