Your Role
As a Senior Project Architect, you'll be right in the thick of the action, working closely with our Director and gaining hands-on experience from inception to construction. You'll manage multiple projects, liaise with clients and consultants, and bring innovative designs to life.
What You Bring
* Experience
: 5+ years of post-qualification experience, 5+ years of local expertise and experience with Class 2 buildings.
* Technical Skills
: Advanced proficiency in ArchiCAD (versions
* Passion & Detail
: A keen eye for design details and a proactive approach to your work.
* Interpersonal Skills
: Excellent communication abilities to build strong relationships with clients, builders and team members.
* Learning Mindset
: A genuine interest in current design trends and an eagerness to grow professionally.
* Time Management
: Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise and delegate tasks, meet deadlines, and manage demands in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare Development Applications (DA), Construction Certificates (CC), and Complying Development Certificates (CDC).
* Develop detailed construction documentation.
* Collaborate with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
* Stay informed on relevant Building Code of Australia (BCA) standards and safe design principles.
* Create detailed working drawings and specifications.
* Delegate tasks and manage deadlines.
* Participate in product and finish selections.
* Assist with Contract Administration under the guidance of the Director.

* An interest in interior design and knowledge of heritage buildings will be highly valued
