What you will do as the Assistant Director in the Digital ID Division
* Lead a team of professionals, role modelling our leadership behaviours, supporting a professional and collaborative working environment, fostering a culture of high performance, coaching, giving continuous feedback, resolving conflict and facilitating career development.
* Shape and implement strategies, work programs and priorities across the Digital ID Division ensuring alignment with broader ACCC objectives and that milestones, risks and resources are managed effectively.
* Engage confidently with diverse external and internal stakeholders, strengthening partnerships, supporting complex processes, and communicating clearly on regulatory, policy or engagement matters.
* Oversee the preparation of briefings, reports, guidance materials, and presentations, ensuring complex information is translated into clear, accessible products for senior leaders and external audiences.
About you
In order to succeed in the role, you will have:
* Demonstrated experience leading a team or similar role in a fast-paced and large complex people-centred or similar organisation.
* The ability to proactively and effectively engage with stakeholders, to influence, persuade, negotiate, build effective professional relationships and achieve outcomes.
* The ability to develop and implement strategic plans that align with organisational goals and experience in translating strategic objectives into actionable plans and outcomes.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
* The ability to achieve results at pace, while managing risk and planning and managing multiple tasks with competing priorities, to achieve quality outcomes.
