About the Role
Join us as a Service Advisor at our Coffs Harbour dealership. In this role you will provide customer service support and technical advice to our customers, book and coordinate jobs, data entry and process quotes, invoices and warranty claims.
What you’ll be doing
- Providing exceptional and professional customer service both on the phone and face-to-face in the workshop
- Providing quotes and invoices
- Book and coordinate jobs
- Following up on service jobs and calling customers to advise them on delays and/or finish times
- Dealing with warranty policy adjudication and informing customers of expected costs and warranty coverage
- Inspecting parts related to warranty claims and ensuring parts are dispatched
- Warranty administration
What you need to be successful in this role:
- Experience in a similar role at a truck, car machinery or agricultural dealership
- Mechanically‑minded, problem‑solver, team player, excellent communicator, strong attention to detail and organisational skills and intermediate computer skills
- Truck mechanic qualification or other mechanic qualification – desirable but for the right person a trade qualification may not be necessary
- Kenworth or DAF experience (desirable)
