ABOUT THE COMPANY
I am partnering a Sydney-based architectural practice that operates at the top end of the local market. The studio has built a strong reputation through long-term client relationships and a high level of repeat work, underpinned by consistent delivery across complex project typologies.
The practice is experiencing a particularly strong year of growth, securing a combination of new commissions and ongoing work from trusted clients. Their portfolio is predominantly multi-residential and mixed-use developments across Sydney, delivered in close collaboration with Tier 1 developer–buildesrs, alongside selective work in hospitality, retail, hotels and masterplans.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is an opportunity for a registered Architect to join the practice at a pivotal time of expansion. The role will see you taking ownership of significant projects, including large-scale residential developments (with current projects exceeding 300 apartments), and contributing across multiple stages of the design and delivery process.
You will work closely with senior leadership, consultants, and external stakeholders, playing a key role in maintaining design quality while ensuring technical and commercial outcomes are met.
DUTIES
* Lead projects across multiple stages, from feasibility to design development through to construction
* Coordinate consultant teams and liaise with developer and builder clients
* Prepare and review detailed documentation using Revit
* Oversee design compliance and buildability
* Mentor junior team members and contribute to studio knowledge
* Participate in authority coordination and approvals processes
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
* Registered Architect (Australia)
* Proven experience delivering multi-residential and/or mixed-use projects
* Strong exposure to multiple project stages, ideally end-to-end
* High level of proficiency in Revit (essential)
* Confident communicator with experience working alongside tier-one developer–builder teams
* Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving ability
