A bit about the role

The IT Service Level Management Lead is responsible for guiding the development and maturity of the service level management practices across nbn's IT environment. This role sets strategic direction, fosters collaboration, and ensures service level processes are aligned with business needs and industry standards. With a focus on stability, adaptability and continuous improvement, the role supports the delivery of reliable and efficient IT services.

The role promotes process adoption and performance across internal teams, vendors and partners. It contributes to a culture of shared accountability and service excellence, ensuring operational performance is monitored, communicated and continually enhanced. Through thoughtful leadership and strategic insight, the role supports nbn's commitment to delivering high-quality IT services.

A bit about the candidate

The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in IT service management within large, complex environments, with a strong foundation in the ITIL framework and a demonstrated ability to lead teams through change. A background in telecommunications or utilities is highly regarded, along with a track record of building effective relationships and delivering process improvements that are both pragmatic and impactful.

This role benefits from a collaborative mindset, a strategic approach to problem-solving, and a commitment to fostering inclusive and high-performing teams. Strong communication skills and the ability to navigate complexity with clarity and purpose are essential.
