The role of the Skilling Queenslanders for Work Trainer is to manage the daily operations of this program, identifying opportunities for improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support local job seekers in finding employment and training opportunities
* Build skill capabilities of local job seekers through training
* Engage with employers and industry stakeholders to promote careers and pathways in growth industries
* Develop and maintain knowledge of the local labour market
* Ability to relate to people from diverse backgrounds
* Manage a challenging workload through prioritisation and time management
About You:
* Proven ability to build effective relationships with external stakeholders and clients
* Experience in employment services, negotiation, and rapport building
* High level of oral and written communication skills
* Ability to work with people with disabilities and injuries
* Previous experience in a similar role
