The Director, Program Implementation Support (the Director) plays a critical role in leading program implementation and executive support for the Curriculum, Pedagogy and Assessment Team (CPAT). Working closely with school leaders within CPAT, the Director leads a small program implementation support team to provide agile operational and enabling functions. The team also provides executive support to CPAT leadership. Reporting to the Executive Education Leader - Curriculum, Pedagogy and Assessment, the Director will lead their team to contribute to system improvement efforts by ensuring project deliverables are aligned to the Expert Panel Report’s recommendations and implementation advice and are monitored to a high level of scrutiny. The Director leads program and implementation guidance and support to the CPAT to enable the delivery of Strong Foundations. Working closely with the Strong Foundations Implementation Team, the Director delivers support for logistics, government business, project planning and budgeting. The Director ensures efficient management of project deliverables, guidance and professional expertise to schools, ensuring educators have the tools, resources, and strategies to implement high-quality, differentiated instruction that meets the diverse needs of students. The ideal candidate will be an experienced, strategic, self-motivated, and effective project manager with strong capabilities in managing complex project streams and delivering project reporting on multiple bodies of work with different deadlines. The Director will be highly organised, have good interpersonal skills and the capacity to build relationships. They will also demonstrate highly developed communication skills, proven problem-solving abilities, and the ability to analyse data and manage risk. The ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment, with competing priorities and with minimal supervision is also required.
