About The Role
Acknowledge Education is seeking passionate Social Workers, Youth Workers, Case Managers, Counsellors, Psychologists, and other Human Services Professionals to work as Placement Liaison Officers for our Community Service Programs. Join our Academic team and support students throughout their Placement programs. This role involves using your industry experience and expertise to assist students during their placements, ensuring they meet expectations and thrive.
Key Responsibilities Include
* Maintain and enhance relationships with stakeholders to secure student placements.
* Act as the primary contact for fieldwork placements, supporting students and evaluating activities.
* Organize student information sessions, orientation presentations, and ensure liaison services meet compliance standards.
* Manage placement records, assess student performance, and address any issues promptly.
* Contribute to team meetings and professional development initiatives in line with organizational policies.
About You
* Hold a Postgraduate degree or higher in community work, social welfare, human services, Psychology, or related fields.
* Have at least three years of relevant industry experience.
* Commit to ongoing professional development, with a minimum of 20 hours annually.
* Demonstrate leadership, excellent interpersonal, and communication skills.
* Proficient in data entry, database management, online platforms, and report writing.
* Able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently with minimal supervision.
Desirable
* Experience with higher education and facilitating workshops.
* Familiarity with supporting international and multicultural students.
* Proficiency in InPlace, RTO Manager, and Moodle.
