In 2026, we will be celebrating 20 years of Rupert's Bar & Grill. With a new Head Chef, the launch of a freshly designed seasonal menu, and a full calendar of celebratory events and ideas to bring to life, it's an exciting time for us
But there is one piece of the puzzle currently missing — a dedicated and energetic Restaurant Manager.
We're looking for an enthusiastic, organised, and passionate Restaurant Manager to help implement and execute our celebratory plans. You'll be a hands-on leader who inspires and drives our Front of House team to consistently create and deliver exceptional, memorable dining experiences.

About the Role
This is a hands-on Front of House leadership role. You will set the rhythm of service, shape the culture, and ensure every guest experience meets our standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Train, mentor, and inspire a small team to deliver warm, genuine, and exceptional service
* Assist with the planning and delivery of functions and special events
* Take ownership of the POS system, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
* Create and manage staff rosters to ensure effective team scheduling
* Oversee time management and labour efficiency during service
* Be available across seven days, including weekends and evenings, with two consecutive days off
* Lead by example, running smooth and efficient service periods
* Use your outstanding people skills to create memorable guest experiences
* Showcase your mixology skills by crafting cocktails and contributing to beverage menu development
* Manage stock, suppliers, and inventory with precision
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and quality control
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience leading a busy, quality-focused restaurant
* Strong people leadership skills and a passion for team development
* Experience in roster creation and labour management
* Confidence in guest engagement and proactive service recovery
* Solid understanding of POS systems and inventory management (Ideal POS preferred)
* Creative flair for wine and cocktail menu development
* Full availability with an understanding of smart rostering
* You will have a RMLV and be an Approved Manager or be prepared to undertake the appropriate training.
