About the Role
It's time to take the reins and direct your own future! TeachVic has an exciting prospect for an experienced Business Development Specialist with demonstrated wins and extensive placements across the Education Sector. Taking full ownership of our vision to help schools secure the best teachers for their students, your mission will have an ongoing impact on school communities, students, families and the state as a whole.
You will be joining a team that has already turned the page for a number of schools who have been impacted by the teacher shortage and add to a history that has changed lives.
Your core responsibilities:
Connect with and cultivate lasting relationships with key decision makers at schools with a focus on driving placements and delivering long-term value for leadership, staff, students and the school community.
Engage with our team of Recruiters to facilitate the placement of teachers.
Contribute to strategic growth by actively engaging in the direction of TeachVic.
Deliver wins by taking full ownership of the end-to-end recruitment processes, ensuring the successful placement of both temporary and permanent staff.
To win in this role, you will need to bring:
Extensive experience in the education sector with well-developed contacts in public and private schools.
A hunger to deliver for schools and teachers.
A heart that seeks to see others win.
Confidence that's matched only by your hard work and innovation.
Full working rights in Australia.
Key considerations:
You will need to hit the ground running as this is a commission-based position.
Your commissions will be uncapped, so there will be no limits to your success.
Your success will be determined by your ability to place Australian and International teachers in ongoing, fixed-term, and casual relief teaching positions.
You will have the freedom to work from home and set your own schedule, with the exception of a daily (10 am) meeting where we will sync our calendars, share ideas and set targets and a monthly office day to connect and build our team.
