About the Role
As a CBRE Electrician, you will inspect, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment in assigned facilities. This position is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function, responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
What You'll Do
* Oversee electrical and lighting systems' general operation, repair, and maintenance; perform new installations of equipment.
* Check, repair, and replace functional components of electrical and lighting systems, including valves, motors, controls, switches, gauges, wiring, fans, pumps, compressors, condensers, cores, and pipes.
* Ensure equipment is maintained and operating safely.
* Review historical maintenance records to create proactive inspection, testing, and preventive maintenance schedules.
* Provide efficient and reliable service to customers.
* Apply standard principles, techniques, and procedures to accomplish assigned tasks and solve routine problems.
* Possess broad knowledge of your own discipline and some knowledge of several disciplines within the function.
* Lead by example and model behaviors that align with CBRE RISE values; may be asked to reach agreements.
* Impact the quality of own work and the work of others on the team.
* Work primarily within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
* Explain complex information to others in straightforward situations.
What You'll Need
* Fully qualified Electrician with NT Electrical Licence. Valid driver's licence required.
* Meet the physical requirements of this role, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads.
* Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.
* Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.
* Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
