Your Role
As a key member of the senior leadership team, you'll own the Customer Contract and drive operational efficiency, while managing a Warehousing & Distribution team. Responsibilities include:
* Ownership of team meetings and field-based leadership, ensuring teams are well resourced, trained and developed
* Operational excellence across dispatch times, resourcing, scheduling jobs and handling emergencies
* Ensuring asset and driver utilisation is at optimum level, high level accuracy with customer expectation and lead times met
* Review, support and approve daily load plans, meeting and exceeding Company and Customer KPIs
* Ensure safety is lived out and at the forefront of all conversations, dialogue and decisions
* Ensure Compliance, Reporting and Legislation requirements are met across your remit
About You
* You'll love the complexities that come with being a Contract Manager in a busy Linehaul Warehouse, and thrive under pressure
* You're confident managing a fleet of vehicles, and leading people across various sites
* You're proficient in Warehousing, Transport or Logistics guidelines and legislation
* You have excellent organisational and timekeeping skills, and have demonstrated excellence in your output and delivery for clients
* You are an experienced Contract Manager and uphold customer outcomes at all times
* You are passionate about safety, recruiting and training
* You are confident in the use of Microsoft 365, TMS and EMS operations
Other Details
The position is full-time and on-site, requiring some travel to Customer Sites. Due to the nature of the work, you will be required to be contactable for emergencies (rare) and able to start work from 6am. In return, you will be rewarded with serious career trajectory, starting at $160K + Super and scaling within 12 months.
