As the Commercial Coordinator, you will manage property-related commercial activities including leases, licences, and ad-hoc facility hire, ensuring all arrangements are administered efficiently and comply with university policies and legal requirements. Who you are
Leveraging your experience in property management and administration, you excel in providing high-quality customer service and maintaining accurate, well-organised records. You have a strong interest in policy frameworks and legislative requirements affecting real property management and are committed to staying informed. Efficient, timely administration is a priority for you, and you actively seek ways to improve processes and outcomes.
What you'll do
Reporting to the Manager, Property and Administration, you will coordinate leases and licences across university sites, with a strong focus on service excellence and effective stakeholder relationships. In the first 6–12 months, you will:
* Coordinate and manage lease and licence agreements with tenants, legal advisors, and internal stakeholders
* Ensure agreements are current, compliant, and accurately recorded
* Maintain records of terms, renewals, and financial obligations
* Manage bookings and agreements for short-term or casual use of facilities
* Oversee service contracts and coordinate commercial arrangements as require
* Ensure all commercial activities comply with legislation, university policy, and risk management frameworks
What will help you succeed
Your success in this role will be underpinned by a relevant degree with subsequent experience in property, facilities, or commercial services; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training. In addition, you should have, demonstrated experience in managing leases, licences, commercial service delivery and/or contract administration in a complex organisation.
Your ability to productively engaging with people, excellence in client services and effective communication skills, as well as the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver successful outcomes is also imperative in this role.
