Senior Presales Solution Architect – Customer Solutions
CyberCX is Australia's leading independent cyber security services organisation. To support continued growth across our Managed Security Services (MSS) practice, we are seeking an experienced Senior Presales Solution Architect. The role is nationally scoped with a preference for Melbourne, Canberra or Brisbane.
The role
Reporting to the Executive Director / Director – Customer Solutions, the Senior Solution Architect – Customer Solutions will work closely with the Director – Customer in their state and is responsible for the design of multiple solutions and services across CyberCX. Working with the Executive Director / Director – Managed Security Services Go to Market and the MSS teams, you will lead the design and development of Managed Security Services go-to-market solution offerings to support the growth of the MSS Practice, positioning CyberCX as Australia's leading cyber security company.
You'll be responsible for
* Leading the development of CyberCX managed services solutions within major and strategic customer accounts
* Developing the vision that underpins each solution and translating that vision into executable designs
* Organising and coordinating the development effort for CyberCX customer solutions
* Scoping and designing technical solutions, including:
* SIEM and XDR platforms such as Sentinel, XSIAM and Splunk
* XDR solutions such as Defender, CoretexXDR and Falcon
* Threat intelligence, cloud security, data protection, CASB, SAS E and other security technologies
* Next-generation network security technologies such as Palo Alto Networks, Netskope and zScaler
* TSM and SIAM integration with technologies such as ServiceNow
* Working closely with sales and presales architects on proposals and bids, tailoring messaging for both technical and executive stakeholders
* Designing, developing and evolving the architecture, scoping, positioning, solutioning, packaging and pricing of MSS offerings
* Leading customer design workshops and producing high-quality design documentation in collaboration with Professional Services teams
* Coaching and mentoring other CyberCX Solution Architects
* Actively collaborating across CyberCX to add value, facilitate communication, and enable cross-pollination of ideas to better serve customers
About you
* Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or a related field (preferred)
* Application Security certifications (e.g. CSSLP)
* At least one penetration testing certification preferred (e.g. SANS, OSCP, CREST or equivalent)
* Project and transition management experience, with certifications such as PMI, PRINCE2 or ITIL preferred
* Deep expertise in specific security solutions or products, supported by relevant vendor certifications
* Strong commercial acumen with proven experience in solution selling
* Ability to mentor peers and contribute to capability uplift across the team
* People leadership skills are advantageous
* Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to build credibility with senior leaders and delivery teams
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to design scalable, sustainable solutions to complex operational challenges
