About The Facility
Our major sites include University Hospital Geelong, McKellar Centre, Barwon Health North, and various aged care facilities. We deliver mental health, community health, and dental services throughout the Barwon South West Region, including Torquay and Colac.
About The Role
Seeking qualified Cert IV allied health assistants or occupational therapy students for roles including:
* Working across acute wards and outpatient hand therapy at University Hospital Geelong and inpatient rehabilitation wards at McKellar
* Facilitating patients to regain independence in daily activities
* Providing education on falls prevention, hip precautions, energy conservation, and fatigue management
* Teaching patients to use adaptive aids and devices
* Receiving close supervision from OT supervisors and colleagues
* Opportunities to work across disciplines within the continuum of care
