About the Team and Role
We are seeking a ServiceNow Technical Lead to lead the technical team supporting and maturing our ServiceNow platform. This is a permanent BAU role that focuses on platform stability, maintenance, security, and the continual enhancement of the platform through a structured two‐week sprint cycle. The role includes direct people leadership of the ServiceNow technical team, as well as oversight of our managed service partner. The platform is well established, and you will help ensure it remains stable while continuing to evolve in a sustainable way. Please note, this is not a project based implementation role.
Responsibilities
* Lead, coach, and develop the ServiceNow technical team, supporting capability growth and effective delivery.
* Maintain and support the day to day technical operation of the ServiceNow platform, ensuring it remains stable, secure, and reliable.
* Oversee system administration activities, maintenance tasks, technical housekeeping, and the management of security controls and access.
* Lead small to medium enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives that help the platform evolve in a controlled and sustainable way.
* Lead agile ceremonies, coordinate sprint activity, and manage work across internal team members and our managed service partner.
* Ensure high quality and well governed technical outcomes that focus on improving customer experience, streamlining workflows, and increasing automation.
About You
* Strong hands‐on ServiceNow technical and development experience.
* Experience leading agile teams and working within a sprint based delivery model.
* A collaborative mindset and the ability to coordinate internal and partner resources.
* A passion for stable, secure, and sustainable platform operation.
Qualifications
* ServiceNow System Administrator certification and ServiceNow Developer certification are required.
* ServiceNow Implementation Specialist certifications or Advanced Administration certifications are desirable.
* ITIL version 3 or ITIL version 4 certification is desirable.
* Qualifications in information technology or a related field are beneficial.
