About the Role
As Head Chef, you will oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and food safety. You'll work closely with management to deliver an exceptional dining experience for our members and guests while maintaining strong cost controls and team performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop, cost, and maintain menus that align with our club's standards and customer expectations
* Lead, motivate, and develop a team of kitchen staff to achieve consistent excellence
* Effectively manage staff rosters to meet operational demands and budget requirements
* Oversee ordering, stock control, and supplier invoicing to ensure smooth operations and cost efficiency
* Uphold all food safety and hygiene standards in accordance with regulations and internal policies
* Collaborate with management and front-of-house teams to deliver a seamless dining experience
* Contribute positively to the existing team culture, working cohesively with club management and staff
About You
To succeed in this role, you'll demonstrate:
* Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef within a busy hospitality venue
* Strong leadership and team management skills
* Excellent organisational and time management abilities
* A solid understanding of cost control, stock management, and menu development
* A genuine passion for food, creativity, and high standards
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and compliance requirements
* A collaborative and positive approach to teamwork
