Key Responsibilities
* Perform and report the full range of Nuclear Medicine (including Positron Emission Tomography – PET) examinations offered by and performed at the Geelong Hospital under specialist supervision.
* Attend and, if rostered, present at Multidisciplinary Clinico‐pathological Meetings (MDM) and imaging meetings as rostered.
* Participate in after‐hours on call radiology services if RANZCR candidate.
* Participate in quality assurance and research activities as per JSAC requirements.
* Attendance at training courses where appropriate or required.
* Basic on‐site training in Nuclear Medicine technology and radiation safety.
* Undergoing certain training or administrative activities as required for all Barwon Health / Medical Imaging employees in information technology, occupational health and safety.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Australian or New Zealand citizen or permanent resident.
* Pass grade in the Part 1 FRACP examination if a physician candidate.
* Pass grade in the Part II FRANZCR examination and completion of appropriate RANZCR training as stipulated by JSAC.
