Stewart Burr and Mayr Lawyers is seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Legal Secretary/Admin Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide general receptionist and administrative support to our busy and expanding legal practice.
Location: predominantly at Strathpine, with potential attendance at Caboolture and Redcliffe offices.
Responsibilities
 * Answering phone calls and scheduling appointments
 * Greeting clients and visitors to the office
 * Providing clerical assistance to legal professionals in conveyancing, property law and criminal law
 * Managing incoming and outgoing mail and email
 * Filing, scanning and photocopying legal documents
 * Archiving files
 * Updating and maintaining client databases
 * Other administrative duties as required
Requirements
 * Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role or as a legal secretary is preferred
 * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
 * Strong organisational and time-management abilities
 * High level of attention to detail and accuracy
 * Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
 * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications
 * Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures is advantageous
