This is a 12 month fixed term, full-time position commencing Term 1, ****.
Armadale Senior High School (SHS) is an Independent Public School dedicated to providing students from Year 7 to Year 12 with strong academic achievement and positive engagement.

These include English, Mathematics, Science, Humanities, Home Economics, Creative Art, Music, Information Technology, Design and Technology and Physical Education.
The Role
The successful applicant will ideally assist in development and implementation of systems and intervention strategies which provide a responsive and effective support service for students, family members and staff.
You should also assist in the development and implementation of the strategies to support Special Educational Needs (SEN).
The successful applicant should help develop supportive links between the student, the family, the school and other appropriate agencies in the community and establish a network of partnerships with other government and non-government agencies.
Additionally, you should have the ability to actively participate in team meetings, case conferences and with other agencies as appropriate, as well as assist the team in crisis management and response duties as required.
The successful applicant should undertake research on current issues for children, participate in projects and provide written reports as required.
Knowledge and experience in implementing trauma-informed practices to support young people is highly regarded for this role.
