AV is seeking an experienced individual to provide high level engagement with education providers and coordinate student placement programs.
This is a full time; permanent position is currently based at our Ballarat Business Centre and is part of the operational capability department.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Lead, Vocational Training and Students, the responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
1. Act as the contact point for all students undertaking clinical placement within AV,
2. Prepare, coordinate and maintain student records,
3. Monitor progression of undergraduate paramedic students employed by AV,
4. In conjunction with AV's rostering department, coordinate allocation of students undertaking clinical placement with AV
5. Assist with the collation and reporting of data required for student placements,
6. Monitor and support the AV Scholarships program in Paramedicine.
ABOUT YOU
To be considered for this position you will possess:
7. Demonstrated substantial experience and expertise in providing administrative support within a large organisation or department,
8. Certificate IV in Admin or Business (desirable)
9. Familiarity with VETtrak (highly desirable)
10. Registered Training Organisation experience (highly desirable)
11. Understanding of tertiary clinical/health placements, planning and negotiation (highly desirable)
12. Demonstrated experience in the development/coordination of student services/placement planning
13. Proven experience in using Microsoft Office suite applications including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel

The successful candidate must have a current Victorian Driver's License and be willing to travel throughout metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria when required.
