About the role
A need has arisen for an experienced Customer Service / Counter Sales Representative to join their small but happy team. In this dynamic, challenging and highly pivotal role you will be responsible for:
* Serving customers over the counter
* Answering incoming enquiries regarding stock availability, deliveries and pricing
* Providing quotes to customers via phone or email
* Making a couple of outbound calls a day to existing customers to ensure their needs are being met
* Inputting sales orders
* Coordinating with warehouse staff to ensure customer delivery expectations are met
* Analysis of stock availability using system reports
* Maintenance of customer information regarding orders held in the system
Skills & experience
As the ideal candidate and to make the transition as smooth as possible, you will possess the following key attributes:
* Previous customer service / counter sales experience within the signwriting, print or labels industry
* Excellent communication, time management and customer service skills
* Above average computer literacy with excellent attention to detail
* Reliable and honest and is someone that can own their mistakes
* Be a team player who is willing to go the extra mile
