We're on the lookout for a Casual Relief Cook to join our team at our Taree Gardens site.
Reporting to the Area Manager, you'll play a key role in the smooth running of daily kitchen operations, helping us deliver exceptional experiences for our residents and having fun while doing it.

In this Role, You'll
* Stock Management: Ensure the kitchen is fully stocked with required produce for catering, minimizing waste and maximizing usage.
* Ordering & Quality Control: Submit orders to the Community Manager on time, check all produce upon delivery, and return damaged goods as per procedure.
* Menu & Food Standards: Comply with Village Specific Menu guidelines, maintain food quality and flavor, and monitor critical temperature limits throughout all stages.
* Budget & Service Excellence: Deliver high-quality meals and service within budget and operational parameters, focusing on resident satisfaction.
* Food Safety & Hygiene: Act as the Food Safety Supervisor, implement the site-specific Food Safety Program, and ensure thorough cleaning and sanitization of kitchen, dining areas, and community spaces.

* Collaborate with Management: Build and maintain positive working relationships with the Community Manager and Operations Manager.
* Resident Care: Show empathy and genuine care when communicating with residents, ensuring professionalism at all times.
* Confidentiality: Keep all internal matters private and never discuss them with residents.
* Referral Process: Direct any non-catering resident enquiries to the Community Manager promptly.
* Team Engagement: Treat all team members with respect, contribute to meetings, and support a collaborative environment for continuous improvement.
