Lead Culinary Expert
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen team, overseeing all aspects of culinary management including menu development, staff training, and food preparation.
* Leading and managing kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations and high team morale.
* Overseeing recruitment, onboarding, and rosters for kitchen staff, ensuring proper staffing at all times.
* Collaborating on menu development, cost recipes, and ensuring new menu changes are executed on time and to high standards.
* Managing daily food preparation, production, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality.
* Controlling stock, managing suppliers, and ensuring all inventory procedures are followed.
* Implementing and upholding kitchen cleaning and maintenance standards, ensuring hygiene and safety compliance.
* Supervising purchasing and receiving processes, ensuring proper documentation and waste reduction.
* Providing feedback and coaching to kitchen staff to ensure ongoing development and team cohesion.
* Ensuring kitchen equipment is well-maintained and that all staff are trained on proper usage.
