**How will I help?**
The Team Leader for Securitisation (Mortgage Operations Support) will be responsible for up to 10-15 Team Members. The Mortgage Operations Securitisation team performs a functional role that underpins Westpac's Treasury's Securitisation activities. Such activities are varied however a simplified view groups these into four distinct responsibilities being, supply of loans, quality of loans, pre-sale/sale management, and managing impacts of credit policy and operational process change within the Bank's Securitisation mortgage portfolios.
The team structure consists of onshore team members, and offshore team members provided by BPO partner.
The Securitisation team is responsible for ensuring loan supply, loan quality, and portfolio management activities are consistently and accurately aligned to Treasury securitisation requirements. The role regularly interacts with Treasury, Product, Risk and Compliance, and external Auditors.
The role carries expectations to provide training, system management, and project support when impacting the securitisation portfolio.

**What do I need?**
- Proven experience as a Team Leader overseeing a team of up to 10-15 individuals.
- Ability to communicate feedback in an effective manner to improve team member's performance and create a positive team culture
- A passion for coaching, mentoring, and developing team members by setting clear goals and KPI's
- The desire to continuously improve performance and efficiency by understanding business metrics to manage operations and drive improvements including knowledge of Active Operations Management, resource planning and load balancing concepts and operational excellence practices
- Strong knowledge of Westpac/RRB and RAMS Consumer Products, processes, and policies - desired
- Highest levels of personal integrity and ethical behaviour, with a customer-centric approach to business
- 3+ years relevant experience in a similar level
- Professional qualifications - Diploma in Frontline Management (minimum) or similar
- Professional Qualifications - Certificate in Financial Services (desired)
- Consumer Mortgage experience (desired)
