About the Role
Baptcare Abbey Gardens, a Residential Aged Care facility in Warragul, Victoria, is actively welcoming new residents and offering casual opportunities for Environmental Services Assistants. We are seeking dependable candidates who can work flexible hours to maintain high standards of hygiene and service.
The major accountabilities are the efficiency of cleaning tasks and the quality of relationships with residents, which impact the overall service standard and atmosphere of the facility.
Responsibilities
- Making residents beds
- Cleaning residents’ rooms, including ensuites, communal and administration areas of the facility
- Removal and disposal of waste, including recycling where appropriate and placement of bins for collection
- Assisting with laundering the resident’s clothes and other items as required
- Other tasks and errands to maintain a pleasant, caring, and safe environment for residents
- Restocking of linen trolleys, cleaning supplies, and paper products in all areas

Requirements / Qualifications
- Right to work in Australia
- National Criminal History check required
- Medical assessment to determine physical capability for the role
- Ability to carry out a range of domestic tasks to maintain hygiene standards in a home-like environment
