The Opportunity
We are looking for a Lawyer/Associate or Senior Associate to join our growing Corporate Transactions team for a 12 month fixed term contract. The role involves managing and supervising a range of Corporate M&A and commercial contracting matters, including due diligence, local counsel outreach, contract review, and helping develop innovative M&A solutions for valued clients. This role provides the opportunity to rethink how we deliver legal advice by leveraging global teams, legal technology, and generative AI. Strong communication and people skills are essential as you will manage junior lawyers and legal analysts and build commercial relationships with practice groups, consulting divisions and clients locally and globally.

Requirements / Qualifications
A minimum of 4 years' legal experience in corporate M&A transactions within a respected firm, government or in-house role
Experience with contracts across commercial activities such as sales, procurement, franchising, distribution, reseller, joint ventures, IT
Experience in (or exposure to) real estate and banking transactions is desirable
Desire to be part of a growing team that seeks to change how advice is provided; curiosity and willingness to challenge, innovate and think differently
Well-developed legal skills, including drafting, negotiating, analysis, and project management
Ability to communicate complex matters clearly in plain English (verbal and written)
Interest in utilising legal technology, including generative AI, and openness to technological change to deliver legal advice
