About the role and where you will be working
Our residential care team at Southern Plus East Fremantle are currently looking for a Registered Nurse to coordinate and lead the delivery of client-focused care on a permanent part time basis. Southern Plus East Fremantle is our premium flagship facility, boasting new amenities and providing a variety of social and entertainment services. Our residential site is capable of comfortably supporting up to 83 residents. You will lead small clinical teams that provide high standards of person-centred care to all residents and have an opportunity to improve both clinical and leadership skills.
Shifts : Friday mornings 06:45–14:45; Wednesday & Friday mornings 06:45–14:45; Tuesday, Friday, & Saturday afternoons 14:30–22:30; Wednesday, Thursday & Sunday nights 22:15–07:15. Permanent Part-time positions available.
Your responsibilities
- Supervise and direct the delivery of client-focused care delivered by staff
- Assess the total health needs of clients and document results thoroughly
- Develop individual care plans in consult with clients and significant others
- Comply with all relevant legislation and policies
- Uphold the organization's values and principles in all areas of service delivery
About you
As a Registered Nurse, you'll hold a valid AHPRA registration and possess great interpersonal and communication skills. You'll be detail oriented and can work well in both a team environment and independently. You can apply your clinical knowledge to any given situation and achieve quality client outcomes. Experience in Aged Care is ideal, but not necessary. Most importantly, you'll have a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of our residents.
To be considered for this role, you’ll need
- A valid AHPRA registration
- An understanding of Commonwealth Aged Care standards & Quality of Care principles
- Good knowledge of AN-ACC requirements
- Proven ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
