Supply Chain Manager
to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the entire supply chain process, from procurement and logistics to inventory management and distribution. You will work closely with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure the seamless flow of goods and services, while minimizing costs and maximizing efficiency. Key Responsibilities:
* Supply Chain Strategy:
Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with business goals, ensuring timely delivery of goods, cost efficiency, and high service levels.
* Vendor & Supplier Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and monitor supplier performance to ensure product quality, on-time delivery, and cost effectiveness.
* Logistics & Distribution:
Oversee the logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution, ensuring timely and cost-efficient delivery of goods to customers or end-users.
* Inventory Management:
Optimize inventory levels to balance demand and supply, reduce excess stock, and avoid stockouts. Use forecasting and planning tools to predict future demand accurately.
* Process Optimization:
Identify and implement improvements in supply chain processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall operational performance.
* Risk Management:
Monitor potential supply chain risks, such as disruptions in supply, transportation delays, or geopolitical issues, and develop contingency plans to mitigate risks.
* Cross-functional Collaboration:
Work closely with other departments, including sales, production, finance, and IT, to ensure seamless coordination and communication across the supply chain.
* Data Analysis & Reporting:
Utilize data analytics to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), such as lead times, transportation costs, and inventory turnover. Prepare and present regular reports to senior management.
* Compliance & Sustainability:
Ensure that all supply chain activities comply with local laws, regulations, and industry standards. Drive initiatives related to sustainability, such as sourcing environmentally-friendly materials and reducing waste.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree
in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field. A Master's degree or certifications (e.g., APICS, CSCP) is a plus.
* Proven experience
in supply chain management or logistics, with a strong understanding of procurement, inventory management, and distribution operations.
* Strong negotiation skills
with the ability to manage vendor relationships and contracts effectively.
* Excellent problem-solving skills
to address operational issues, optimize processes, and ensure business continuity.
* Knowledge of supply chain software
(e.g., SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems) and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
* Experience in data analysis
to track KPIs and use data for decision-making and continuous improvement.
* Strong leadership and team management skills
