Your Role
As an Allied Health Assistant, you will provide clinical and administrative support to physiotherapists, occupational therapists and other healthcare professionals. Your main responsibilities include:
* Providing assistance with daily activities such as exercise routines, gait activities and daily living tasks.
* Actively monitoring the environment to ensure patient and staff safety.
* Participating in staff education programs.
* Supporting research initiatives.
* Complying with hospital policies and procedures.
You Will Have
To succeed in this role, you will have developed strong interpersonal and communication skills. You will be able to relate to others in a sensitive and professional manner. A Certificate III Allied Health Assistance or suitable experience is essential. A Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance is desirable.
