We’re looking for a full time _Training Manager _to lead our WA team!
**A day in the life**
Leveraging your natural organisational and people skills, you’ll have oversight over WA Workplace Trainers specialising in Pathology and Laboratory and be responsible for enabling effective and compliant training delivery, including providing support for staff, managing productive resource allocation and course scheduling.
Your easy communication style and innate leadership abilities will allow you to bring together and motivate your industry leading the team of Trainer/Assessors, specialising in laboratory operations and pathology collection training for the employees of our multiple B2B clients (delivered on-site in various workplaces).
You will also work alongside our Business Development Manager (responsible for generating B2B sales), ensuring that the training programs being sold to workplaces are capable of being delivered in a logical, compliant and timely manner, and that our clients’ needs will be met.
Working closely with your team, you’ll monitor the following key questions and take appropriate action to resolve any issues:
- Is your team motivated, fulfilled and productive?
- Are we complying with our state training contract?
- Is paperwork being completed accurately and in full?
- Do trainers have appropriate workloads?
- Do trainers have the right materials?
- Are workplace students making adequate progress through their qualifications?
- Are there new opportunities we should be considering?
Reporting to our WA-based Operations Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to lead a close-knit team in the local office while enjoying the support of quality, finance, human resources and marketing teams also located in the Perth office.
**Must-haves**
- Experience working in the VET sector
- Familiar with the details and compliance requirements of ASQA, and the Standards for RTOs 2015
- Experience with workplace training, and managing the traineeship program with DTWD
- High level of computer literacy
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
**Bonus points**
- Experience in a similar management role
- Experience as a VET Trainer/Assessor
- Experience using a CRM
- Experience using VETtrak
- Qualification in commerce, business admin, management or similar
- Experience in financial management, including budgeting and planning
