Position Summary This is the perfect opportunity to cement your experience in area management with Busy Bees. As an Area Director in the vibrant Adelaide Region, you’ll lead an initial cluster of four early learning services, driving high performance across educational quality, team culture, and commercial success. With additional growth planned in early 2026, this role positions you to step confidently into a broader leadership portfolio as we expand. Key Responsibilities Inspire and Develop Leaders: Mentor Centre Directors to build a high-performing leadership team focused on delivering exceptional early childhood education. Strategic Excellence: Execute and oversee strategic plans to meet and exceed targets across quality, financial, educational, and people metrics. Quality and Compliance Leadership: Ensure all centres comply with and exceed National Quality Framework (NQF) standards, fostering environments where children thrive. Financial Stewardship: Drive profitability through effective financial analysis and resource optimization. Community Engagement: Build meaningful relationships with families, local partners, and regulatory bodies, boosting the reputation and reach of Busy Bees in Adelaide. Key Capabilities Visionary Leadership: Ability to lead, coach, and develop teams across multiple sites. Strategic Thinking: Experience in planning and executing initiatives that align with business objectives. Educational Expertise: Solid understanding of early childhood education, including EYLF and NQF frameworks. Financial Acumen: Strong budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management skills. Effective Communication: Able to engage, influence, and collaborate with a variety of stakeholders. Qualifications & Clearances Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA-approved) Valid Working with Children Check (SA) Current Driver’s License Legal right to work in Australia for a minimum of two years Experience & Skills Demonstrated success in leading multi-site operations in early childhood or related sectors Proven track record in improving service quality and ensuring regulatory compliance Strong experience with financial management and cost control Background in stakeholder management and community partnership development Why Join Busy Bees?
