We are seeking highly skilled, motivated, and enthusiastic individual with relevant qualification to come and join our team as the Full time Glazier (Beveller)
Skills and Experience
Select the type, colour and dimensions of glass required
Prepare glass for cutting by resting it on rack edges or against cutting tables by hand or with notched tools
laying glass over patterns on padded tables and in jigs
examining glass and marking defective areas
cutting along patterns and templates
breaking off sheets and excess glass with notched tools and glass pliers
measuring and marking glass for cutting
Grind and polish glass, and smooth edges where necessary
coat, cut, etch, trim and treat glass to achieve special effects
Additional skills in operating computer, cnc machine, water jet, and truck driving licence will be advantageous
Qualification
Certificate iii in glass and glazing
Experience may replace the formal qualifications
Remuneration
Salary: $70,000.00 - $89,046.89 per year
Schedule:
8 hour shift
