Strategic and Governance Services (SGSC) supports ECU's Council, senior executive, schools, professional service centres and other key groups that require advice and assistance from the strategic and operational governance functions of the University.
The Strategic and Governance Services Centre is comprised of the Directorate and five functional areas supported by a Centre Operations team:
Academic Quality and Standards
Enterprise Risk
Legal and Integrity
Strategy and Performance
University Governance
About the Opportunity
The Centre Operations team provides broad administrative support including travel coordination, web content updates, event management, meeting logistics and policy database management.
The Senior Centre Operations Officer delivers high-quality, timely outcomes for complex activities and projects through strong administrative and interpersonal skills, ensuring compliance with ECU policies, processes and standards.
This role may provide high-level administrative support to specialised functions within Strategic and Governance Services and support ECU Council and Council Committees through meeting and event coordination, including venues, catering, technology, travel and associated events.

About you
A high level of professionalism and the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
The ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
Experience in web content management and high-level meeting or event coordination (highly regarded).
Experience with university systems and processes (desirable).
