Working with the Northern NSW Local Health District, you can play a part in delivering quality care to our region.
Responsibilities
* Provide contemporary comprehensive Specialist Urology services at the primary facility and other facilities where applicable.
* Provide clinical leadership, participate in quality improvement activities and provide training and education to clinicians across multiple disciplines.
* Deliver optimal patient outcomes and support community health through quality care.
Qualifications
* Eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist Urologist, and/or overseas‐trained specialist pathways.
* Demonstrated recent clinical experience in Urology surgery at the service delineation level.
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and provide team leadership.
* Demonstrated effective clinical communication through IT and written, verbal, interpersonal skills.
* Demonstrated commitment to teaching, continuing education, research and quality improvement.
* Availability to participate in on‐call roster and respond on site within a reasonable time.

Location
Lismore Base Hospital is a regional referral, Level 5 base hospital providing a wide range of health services to residents in Northern NSW. The area, known as the Rainbow Region, offers scenic landscapes, coastal communities and vibrant local produce.
