Technical Officer Grade 2 Role Overview
The NSW Police Force is seeking a Technical Officer (Grade 2) to join our Wireless Network Group, Technology & Communication Services Command. The successful candidate will provide operational support to policing through technical services, completing urgent and routine maintenance and repair to communications equipment and in-vehicle electronics.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide technical services to support policing operations;
* Complete urgent and routine maintenance and repair to communications equipment and in-vehicle electronics;
This role may be of interest to qualified individuals living between Coffs Harbour and Yamba. The selected person will work a 4-day working week with On Call required one week per month. Some projects require overnight and travel for up to 4 nights on occasion.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Holding a current driver's licence with no traffic offences recorded on their driving history within the last six months;
* Possessing AUR30316 Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology;
* Ability to undertake training to work at heights on radio towers and structures exceeding 30 metres in height;
