Health Safety and Environmental Advisor
This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading construction company as a Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Advisor. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring that all projects are delivered safely and efficiently.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of HSE principles and practices and be able to implement effective strategies to minimize risks and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
* Assist project teams in implementing the company's HSE Plan, policies, and procedures at the project level.
* Review and monitor key project performance indicators for HSE.
* Assist with investigating significant incidents, making recommendations, and implementing corrective actions.
You will work closely with the project team to identify and mitigate potential hazards, develop and implement risk management plans, and conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies and external regulations.
What We Are Looking For
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HSE professional with a strong background in health and safety management. The ideal candidate will have:
* Minimum two to three years' work experience in a HSE role within the commercial construction industry.
* Experience working with a tier 1 organisation or demonstrable experience working on large and/or complex commercial construction projects.
* Certificate IV OHS Management.
* Exposure to the HSE accreditation process.
* OFSC & AS/NZS4801 experience.
