Partum Engineering is a leading Australian engineering consultancy with offices across Australia. With over 30 years of experience, Partum delivers innovative, end-to-end power engineering design services, specialising in power transmission and distribution systems.
The Role
Our Hobart, TAS team are seeking a maternity leave cover for an initial 12 month contract, with potential to extend and permanency within Partum.
Reporting directly to the Regional Business Lead, the Business Support Officer will be responsible for:
- Supporting the Regional Business Lead and Senior Project Managers.
- Delivering the day to day requirements for the TAS/VIC region.
- Providing high level administration support to the Project team.
- Coordinating project document control activities to ensure data integrity and compliance is maintained.
- Liaising and developing effective work relationships with third parties and stakeholders.
- Assisting with the recruitment and onboarding of new team members.
- Organising all mobilisation arrangements, maintaining up to date training registers and roster in's/out's.
- Providing general admin support as required, including filing of documentation and archiving.Attend meetings as required, compile and distribute minutes and supply required documentation.
- Assisting with Project Administrative duties as required.
Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications
- Qualifications in Business Administration / Office Management.
- Previous experience in an administration role or demonstrated experience in a similar position.
- Current WA Driver's License – 'C' Class.
- Valid National Police Clearance issued within the last 6 months.
- High level customer relationship management, written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with diary and travel management and maintenance of registers.
- Excellent time management, organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Approachable, with a friendly and flexible attitude that will fit in with our Company culture.
- Intermediate level computer competency with advanced Microsoft Office suite skills.
Desirable Skills/Experience/Qualifications
- Document Control experience and capability will be highly regarded.
- Previous experience in the utilities/construction/resources industry is desirable.
