We're looking for a motivated and hands-on Team Leader to guide, support, and inspire our crew.
In this role, you'll be the key link between management and the team on the ground – leading by example, keeping operations running smoothly, and ensuring everyone works safely and efficiently.

As a ProGrind Australia Concrete Grinder and Polisher, you'll get to work on large-scale commercial, retail, and industrial projects.
Including working with many familiar Australian brands such as Woolworths, Dan Murphys, JB HIFI, and the Good Guys to name a few.
THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare concrete floors or other surfaces for subsequent processes, such as polishing or sealing, by grinding away imperfections, levelling areas, and removing contaminants.
Operate specialized grinding machines (walk-behind, hand-held, etc.) to achieve desired smoothness, flatness, and texture on concrete surfaces.
Maintain and clean concrete grinding equipment, ensuring it is in safe and effective working order.
Handle and manage materials used in concrete grinding, such as grinding stones, polishing pads, and chemical treatments.
Adhere to strict safety protocols and regulations when operating grinding equipment and working with chemicals.
Ensure the quality of concrete finishes by identifying and addressing any issues or inconsistencies during the grinding process.
Provide clear direction, motivate team members, and foster a positive, inclusive work environment.
Accurately document job details, equipment usage, and material consumption.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Experience: Prior experience in concrete grinding or related construction trades is highly desirable.
Physical Strength: Ability to lift and manoeuvre heavy equipment and materials.
Attention to Detail: Ability to focus on precision and accuracy when working with concrete grinding equipment.
Safety Awareness: Thorough understanding of safety procedures and protocols related to construction and equipment operation.
Teamwork: Ability to work effectively with other construction professionals and follow instructions.
